2012 – 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Grandmaster Michael Coles of Coles Martial Arts Academy.

Coles was the PKA United States Full Contact Welterweight Champion from 1979 to 1981. Master Instructor under “Father of American TaeKwonDo” Legendary Jhoon Rhee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2003 – Received the Living Legends Sports Award.

Presented by Grandmaster Jerry Piddington, World Kickboxing Champion Jeff Smith, American actor and Martial Artist Bob Wall, World Kickboxing Champion Don “The Dragon” Wilson, “Father of Kickboxing” World Champion Joe Lewis and World Kickboxing Champion Howard Jackson.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

1994 – Won Professional Virginia Welterweight Title from 3-time State Champion.

Became the Top Contender for Professional United States Welterweight Title.
Lost to #1 Ranked Fighter in the World from Yugoslavia.
10th Ranked Kick Boxer under PKC sanctions

 

 

 


 

 

1981 – Received 1st Degree Black Belt from All American Karate Club under Grandmaster Dan Wilson.

Won the Featherweight Amateur VA State Title in Kickboxing by age 17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2018 – Kyoshi Roger Dabney Received the Legendary Joe Lewis “Father of Kickboxing” Eternal Warrior Award.

Also in 1991 Received 5th Degree Black Belt under Legendary World Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Joe Lewis.

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

2015 – Inducted in the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall Of Fame.

2011 – 8th Degree Black Belt from American Karate Academies under founder Grandmaster Jerry Piddington.

And 8th Degree from All American Karate Club under Grandmaster Danny W. Wilson.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1995 – 4th Degree Black Belt under Master Mark Glazier.

And in 2016 Received Lifetime Achievement Award – Founder of Master Glazier Karate in NY, NJ, PA. From 1995 to 1997, MGK was featured in many of the top martial arts magazines as a leader in the martial arts industry. He started to change how martial arts as a business would operate and eventually transform into what it is today. The traditional dojo would now be full service martial arts centers–complete with instructors’ and managers’ offices, high end pro-shops, and fitness programs, as well as enhanced martial arts programs.

 

 

 


 

 

 

1986 – Lightweight Fighter on the United States Karate Team under Legendary World Champion Jeff Smith.

Dabney defeated the undefeated lightweight fighter from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
