re-opening guidelines

• Classes will be limited to 10 students per class.
• All students must wash their hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before every class.
• Do not under and circumstance come to class or bring your child to class, if there are any type of symptoms. No students are allowed to take class if sick.
• We will be checking temperatures, when needed, with a No-Contact Infrared Thermometer.
• Proper entering and exiting procedures for the school and the mat will be taught during all classes.
• Both the doors to the building and the mat will remain open to limit contact on common surfaces

All classes will be Live on Zoom for viewing and for students to continue at home training.

• There will be a 15-20 minute break in between each class for cleaning. No students are allowed in the school during cleaning.
• The lobby will be limited to two or three parents and the back classroom will also be available for parent seating.
• Parents choosing to watch from the back classroom will be asked to park and enter from the back to eliminate congestion in the lobby.
• We are asking parents not to leave & re-enter during class time.
• We are entertaining a Saturday-only outdoor training option (weather permitting):
• We are entertaining a Saturday-only outdoor training option (weather permitting): •Closing the back parking lot •Having two mats per student to train on •The mats will be at a distance where parents will be able to pull up to a designated spot •Students will be training beside their parent's car •At the end of class, parents will leave the parking lot in an orderly fashion for safety.

Classroom Procedures

• All classes will be 30-35 minutes long with no contact or training partners. This is to prevent overheating while training with a mask.
• Students must bring their own water bottles for hydration. The water fountain will be off limits.

• Classes will be geared toward striking techniques and self-defense and training without partners.

Concerning the larger classes:

• There will be set times for students to attend class.
• We will be looking into having single belt level classes to cut down on class size.
• We will focus on keeping the schedule as is – and adapt as we move forward.
• Semi-private classes will become available, once we get through the initial phase.
