CEK offers four programs: Kids Martial Arts (ages 6–12), Adults Kickboxing (ages 13+), Filipino Martial Arts / iKali (ages 13+), and Self-Defense (ages 13+). Each program follows a structured curriculum with measurable progression — not open mat or drop-in fitness classes.

Yes. Every CEK program is structured to start students from zero and progress them through a defined curriculum. No prior experience is required for any program. Most students describe their first class as welcoming and manageable regardless of fitness level.
The Kids Martial Arts program is open to children ages 6–12. The adult programs — kickboxing, Filipino Martial Arts, and self-defense — are open to ages 13 and up.

iKali is CEK's Filipino Martial Arts program taught within the Pekiti-Tirsia Kali lineage. Students learn weapons fundamentals (stick, blade), empty-hand application, footwork, and the deflection/parry principles that make FMA one of the most respected self-defense systems in the world. Classes meet Fridays at 6 PM and Saturdays at 12:30 PM.

Teaching in the West End of Henrico, for 33 years he is the longest-tenured Modern Karate instructor and he has left an indelible mark on the community. But his story is more than just impressive—it’s awe-inspiring. Outside of his motivating/discipline teaching style he has produced some outstanding martial arts Champions.
